I totally agree about the pedestal! One thing I've learned in building my own practice and community project, is there are millions of geniuses and godsends in this world. Some get a spotlight and some don't. But we shouldn't just listen to someone because they have a large audience and we shouldn't dismiss someone because theirs is small.
